Review this list of the current top ten comedy movies. As is usually the case, many of the films that are on the top selling lists are new comedies. This is because, typically when a movie is released on DVD and Blu-ray, a lot of people will look to purchase the movie right after it comes out. Sales tend to fall off pretty quickly after just a few weeks. Sales of older films are sometimes on the list because, for some reason or another, there is renewed interest in the film.
